Bondan Abraham<br>Tema : Ancaman terhadap Tubuh Kristus (3)<br>Ayat Pokok : Efesus 4:13<br>Link : <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fMYLjpxZ3HA\">https:\/\/youtu.be\/fMYLjpxZ3HA<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>(1 Taw 21:1-8)\nDi masa akhir kepemimpinannya, Daud dianugerahi kemenangan di pertempuran\nbangsa Israel dengan bangsa-bangsa lain. Daud kemudian merasa bangsa Israel\nsangat kuat dan ia ingin menghitung jumlah bangsa Israel dan melakukan sensus.\nPada masa itu, Tuhan telah memberikan perintah bahwa setiap kali dilakukan\nsensus, bangsa Israel harus melakukan pendamaian dengan Allah dengan\nmempersembahkan korban (Kel 30:12)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keinginan Daud\nitu didasarkan atas gengsi pribadinya dan hal itu jahat di mata Allah. Pada akhirnya,\nDaud menyadari kesalahannya dan mengakui gengsinya itu adalah sebuah kebodohan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Yesaya\n14:12-14) Oknum yang disebut Bintang Timur &amp; Putera Fajar memiliki gengsi\nyang sangat tinggi. Ia hendak naik mengatasi awan-awan dan menyamai yang Maha\nTinggi. Segala yang diterimanya dari Allah dianggapnya hasil kerjanya sendiri.\nGengsi yang berlebihan jahat di mata Tuhan karena akan membuat manusia lupa\ndiri dan ingin menyamai Allah. Gengsi dan harga diri yang berlebihan adalah\nancaman bagi tubuh Kristus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Amsal 16:5)\nGengsi yang berlebihan akan membuat orang menjadi tinggi hati dan sombong.\n(Amsal 21:4) Congkak dan hati yang sombong adalah pelita bagi orang fasik dan\ndosa di mata Allah. (Roma 12:2) Gengsi yang berlebihan juga membuat kita serupa\ndengan dunia, dan membuat tubuh Kristus yang telah dewasa rohani menjadi\nkanak-kanak kembali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Kel 7:20-22,\nKel 8_5-7) Saat Musa sesuai perintah Allah mengubah air di Mesir menjadi darah\ndan mengeluarkan katak-katak dari air, Firaun dengan gengsinya memerintahkan\npara ahli sihir melakukan hal yang sama. Tanpa sadar, ia melakukan kebodohan\ndan membuat rakyatnya makin menderita. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di masa kini\ndi mana media sosial sudah menjadi bagian dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, banyak orang\nyang karena gengsi berlebihan, tidak mau kalah dengan orang lain dan melakukan\nkebodohan dengan membuat pengeluaran di luar kemampuannya.
