Dalam sejarahnya, pintu gerbang Mata Air berdekatan dengan mata air Gihon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pintu Gerbang Domba melambangkan Allah menyerahkan AnakNya Yesus untuk menjadi Juru Selamat (2 Tes 2:13). Allah memilih orang-orang untuk diselamatkan. Namun bukan berarti mereka yang dipilih tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk menolak, karena manusia diberi kemampuan untuk memilih (Yoh 3:16, 1 Pet 2:6-7). Hanya manusia yang memilih untuk percaya yang akan diselamatkan. Pemilihan Allah adalah pemilihan yang adil. Konsep pemilihan Allah adalah konsep pemilihan bertanggung jawab, baik dari sisi Allah maupun dari sisi manusia sendiri. Allah akan memilih manusia yang mau masuk ke dalam lingkaran orang-orang yang dipilih Allah (dilambangkan pintu gerbang ikan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Yoh 7:38-39) Setelah manusia meninggalkan kehidupan yang lama (pintu gerbang lama), meninggalkan lembah kekejian (pintu gerbang lembah) dan membuang perbuatan-perbuatan yang harus dibuang (pintu gerbang sampah), manusia diberikan Roh Kudus yang menjadi mata air \/ sumber air yang terus menerus dalam kehidupannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ketika manusia percaya kepada Tuhan, ia dimeteraikan oleh Roh Kudus (2 Kor 1:21-22, Efe 1:13). Meterai merupakan tanda sah kita menjadi milik Allah dan dipilih oleh Allah. Setelah kita menjadi milik Allah, kita harus merespon dan mengusahakan agar kita penuh oleh Roh Kudus. Roh Kudus diberikan kepada kita untuk mengalir dan memenuhi hidup kita, bahkan sampai luber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 Tes 4:7-8) Kita dipanggil untuk melakukan yang kudus. Bila kita menolak untuk hidup kudus, itu berarti kita menolak Allah, karena Allah itu Kudus. Roh Kudus hanya bisa memenuhi ruang yang kudus. Kita mengusahakan dipenuhkan Roh Kudus dengan cara menjaga kita hidup kudus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1 Kor 2:11) Tidak ada yang mengetahui siapa kita selain Roh kita. Begitu pula tidak ada yang mengenal Allah sebaik Roh Allah. Roh Allah itu diberikan kepada kita sebagai aliran-aliran air hidup (Yoh 16:13). Tuhan memberikan Roh Kudus kepada kita selain sebagai meterai, juga untuk memimpin hidup kita kepada segala kebenaran. Roh Kudus juga diberikan kepada kita agar kita dapat mengenal Allah dengan benar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Ayub 1:22) Ayub mengendalikan hidupnya untuk tidak berbuat dosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hal yang perlu dikendalikan melalui pintu Gerbang Mata Air:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Keinginan (Rom 7:7-8)<\/li>
  2. Pancaindera (Rom 6:13)<\/li>
  3. (Ayub 1:22) Ayub mengendalikan keinginan dan pancainderanya supaya tidak berbuat dosa. Ayub juga mengendalikan pikirannya dan tidak menuduh Allah berbuat yang kurang patut.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Strategi untuk kita dapat mengusahakan agar penuh Roh Kudus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Tetapkan pilihan<\/li>
    2. Penuh Roh Kudus (Efe 5:17-18)<\/li>
    3. Jaga pikiran, jangan memikirkan hal-hal yang lebih tinggi dari pada yang patut dipikirkan (Roma 12:3)<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Setelah kita menerima Yesus, kita usahakan meninggalkan segala sesuatu yang lama, mari kita buka hati untuk dipenuhkan Roh Kudus, agar kita lebih mengenal Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
